Cadbury launches new limited edition for bestselling Wispa Gold

This autumn, Cadbury is unveiling a new hazelnut flavour for its top-selling Wispa Gold chocolate bar. Cadbury Wispa Gold Hazelnut flavour will be available to order in a single 48g bar from September, helping retailers to drive sales.

The Wispa range is a favourite with shoppers across the UK; in fact, it’s the third biggest brand within the iconic Cadbury range1 after Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cadbury Twirl. Wispa Gold has grown by 23.5%2 over the last year- highlighting just how popular this variant is with shoppers. What’s more, hazelnut is the second biggest flavour in chocolate3 and is growing at 12.8%4, meaning this new bar is set to be a hit with confectionery consumers everywhere.

Ahead of the official release shoppers will have the chance to invest in ‘A New Type of Gold’ by purchasing a single #WispaGoldHF ‘share’, as part of a consumer promotion. Full instructions on this will be announced to shoppers on Cadbury Twitter (@CadburyUK) so retailers should ensure their shelves are stocked ready for increased sales.
