Maynards Bassetts Launches its First Adult Chew Candy with Liquid Centre

In July, the UK’s number one adult candy brand will be adding further innovation to reinvigorate adult candy with Maynards Bassetts Juicy Chews.

The new candy bag, which is the second innovation since Maynards and Bassetts joined forces in February, will be the brand’s first adult chew candy with a liquid centre. Maynards Bassetts Juicy Chews will be available in three tantalising flavours – cherry, orange and strawberry.

In April, Maynards Bassetts launched its largest TV campaign in 20 years, ‘tasty intermissions’, which was based on the idea that each candy in the range is a little moment of fun and delicious pause from the humdrum of everyday life. Each SKU has its own 20-second ‘intermission’ that reflects the experience of eating that particular candy. Maynards Bassetts Juicy Chews will have its own ‘Juicy Intermission’ from September, which will bring the sweet to life in a juicy, colourful and playful way. This will form part of the ongoing £4 million total brand TV campaign.
