Cadbury Crispello launches new Vanilla Velvet

Did you know:  Vanilla is the second most popular confectionery flavour after chocolate[1]? Plus, consumer interest in Vanilla products has double in the last two years[2].

Crispello Vanilla Velvet

With this in mind, we’re bringing the delicious Vanilla flavour to our Cadbury Crispello.  Cadbury Crispello Vanilla Velvet will be available in a 30g countline, in outer cases of 20, and at a PMP trial price of 50p[3] from Wholesalers and Cash and Carry’s from July.

The new pack contains three delicious crispy wafer shells with a creamy vanilla filling, all wrapped in rich Cadbury milk chocolate for indulgent little doses of naughtiness, and in a resealable pack, making it ideal for consumers to save some to enjoy later.

What does the mean for you?

Crispello Vanilla Velvet looks set to add new dimension to the successful Cadbury Crispello Double Choc range, which includes the Countline which hit the nation’s shelves in September 2012, and Crispello Bag, which was launched in March this year.

The brand is already worth over £4 million in countlines[4] alone and with 26 per cent of its buyers being new to singles[5], Crispello is actively helping to drive incremental category value.
