Cadbury reveals the newest permanent addition to the Cadbury Dairy Milk Range, as it re-launches inventor competition

The nation’s winning Cadbury Dairy Milk bar has been revealed: Cadbury Dairy Milk CHOCA-LATTE, invented by Callum Clogher, is to become the latest addition to join the iconic Cadbury Dairy Milk range after winning a public vote that put him head to head against two other finalists. The delicious winning flavour will now sit alongside iconic bars such as Caramel, Fruit & Nut and Whole Nut on shelves across the UK and Ireland from September. Callum, 17 years old from Ireland created Cadbury Dairy Milk CHOCA-LATTE off the back of his love for coffee and chocolate. He was able to bring this unique bar to life with the Cadbury Research & Development team in Bournville as Cadbury opened its doors to its fans for the first time. The winning bar consists of a delicious mix of coffee cream and vanilla sandwiched in between the smooth taste of Cadbury Dairy Milk.

Cadbury is calling upon consumers to ‘go madbury for Cadbury’ as it relaunches the Inventor competition for the second year. From today, shoppers will have the chance to create their very own Cadbury Dairy Milk bar, which could become the next addition to the iconic Cadbury Dairy Milk family in 2020.

Chocolate lovers can pick from a range of tasty and unusual ingredients including gooey brownie, popping candy, chilli and even edible glitter as well as classic ingredients such as raspberries, raisins and almonds. There’s over 90,000 different combinations to choose from and once the ingredients are selected entrants will be able to name their bar and explain what inspired their creation before submitting their entry.

Visit for more info and the chance to invent the next winning bar. Entries will be shortlisted when the competition closes at the end of September and given the chance to visit the Cadbury Chocolate Centre of Excellence in Bournville, the home of Cadbury, where they will work with chocolate experts to experiment with their ingredients and make their creations a reality. The three shortlisted bars will be available for consumers to purchase and vote for in 2020.

Good luck,
